We offer Art Classes in Coolum. You don't need to be a naturally gifted artist to join, these classes are perfect for anyone wanting to explore new skills with various arts and crafts.

I love seeing kids and teens explore different mediums and styles, from clay and pottery to sculpture, oil, and watercolour painting.

It’s a joy to spend time each week with these budding artists - it truly gives me goosebumps of joy!
Our classes are affordable at $35 per class ($350 per term).

What age groups are the art classes for?
We offer classes for kids aged 7-12 and teens aged 13-17, with sessions tailored to each age group’s abilities and interests.

What should my child bring to the art class?
All materials are provided, so your child just needs to bring their creativity and a willingness to explore new skills.
Are the classes structured or more relaxed?
Our classes are a mix of structured lessons and relaxed exploration, allowing students to learn new techniques while expressing their creativity.

Can my child join in the middle of a term?
Yes, students can join at any time during the term, and the fee will be prorated based on the remaining classes.

What is the maximum number of students per class?
To ensure personalised attention, our classes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 students per session.

What are the term dates for 2024?
Term dates for 2024 are as follows: Term 1 (1st Feb - 11th April), Term 2 (16th April - 20th June), Term 3 (11th July - 11th September), and Term 4 (3rd October - 5th December).​
Chony's Art School is based on the premise that no two art works will ever be alike. It is project-based, which means students will be creating an art work at times for up to 4 weeks and then the materials and processes will alternate. Participants are guided to explore and express themselves using at times- clay, watercolour, acrylic paint, sketching, sculpture, intuitive mark making, and collage (just to name a few).
