Creative Tuesdays at The Coolum Hearts Shed

Every Tuesday evening from 6:30–8:00pm, The Coolum Hearts Shed transforms into a space

filled with colour, creativity, and connection with Chony's Art Room. Our Adult Art Classes are all about exploring new techniques, relaxing into the process, and celebrating the joy of making something by hand.

This week, our talented group of artists explored lino printing — a fun and tactile process that combines drawing, carving, and printing. The results were stunning! From intricate leaf patterns to birds in flight, each print reflected the unique creativity and expression of its maker.

There’s something deeply satisfying about carving into lino, rolling on vibrant ink, and revealing that first print. It’s both meditative and exciting — a perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Many of our participants shared how art helps them slow down, express themselves, and reconnect with a sense of calm and confidence.
